I believe that Wikipedia is written for common readers.

It does not appear, in my eyes, to be as scandalous and/or as

reckless as The National Inquirer, however, on the other

hand, the material is not as well written as a master’s

thesis or doctorate thesis. It is just information. Open

for discussion. The sources are there, but may be

questionable. It is not necessarily written by or for experts.

However, scientists and intelligent people do contribute to

it’s data bases.

I appreciate the advice given on the Yale Website:

Use it as an example how not to write professionally.
