Letters to God

When I was a little girl, I would visit my grandmother and we

would go for walks, make desserts, play with blocks, and

read books. I loved reading books and I loved when

‘Grandma’ read books to me.

One of my favorite books was, “Letters to God”.

Now that the kids that wrote the letters have all grown up,

I was wondering WHAT these cute little kids are doing right

now. Perhaps, they are still asking questions.

Here are the questions that I think they might be asking:

Dear God,

Since when did all the Democrats become sinners, and all of

the Republicans become saints. I am a Democrat.

Am I going to hell?

God responds:

Dear Bobby,

I guess that I wasn’t paying enough attention. Are you

telling me that ‘Republicans are saying that they are

saints, and that Democrats are sinners.”? “Yes!”, I responded.

Well, tell the Republicans to look at their t-shirt

and underwear labels, and if the label says, “God”,

then they have the right to judge, and if the label says,

“Made in Malaysia”, they don’t have the right to judge.
